Just another WoW (pet battle) blog…

I’m patf0rd from Germany and I’m playing a Tauren Shaman in World of Warcraft since 2005 (EU Launch). When Blizzard overhauled the vanity pet system and added pet battle in Mists of Pandaria Expansion I spent most of the time in the Beta to collect and level pets and battle critters in the wild.

I was really into this new part of the game, but I think I pushed too hard and starting over on Live Servers after the Launch of MoP took me nearly 8 months. I had to level and gear my char and then start raiding and there were so many things to do (reputation dailys, Sunsong ranch on so many alts…) that my first pet got level 25 in May 2013. Since then I’ve collected and leveled and have a lot of fun in helping other pet battlers with informations and hints I find out myself or on the internet and translated guides into German for my friends who don’t speak English (very well).

I’m not a hardcore pet battler, I have nearly 300 (unique) pets that need to be maxed but I’m working on it, from time to time ๐Ÿ˜‰

In the Warlords of Draenor Beta I can focus on discovery of the new zones or pets ๐Ÿ˜‰ and I spend a lot of time to establish nearly bullet proof strategies for NPC pet battles in the garrison. For Beta purposes Blizzard added cheap battle stones for rare quality and one that upgrades pets to level 25 directly so I don’t have to waste time on pets that I want to try in the fights. I started sharingย  informations via Twitter and forums and so I ended up writing a lot of hints and suggestions and making screenshots of my teams and that’s what I want to share in this blog (hopefully I find the time to publish most of the things bi-lingual at nearly the same time) to help other people in the Beta and maybe on Live Servers if Blizzard don’t change too much ๐Ÿ˜‰
