How to collect battle pet Uuna in Patch 7.3

Weeks ago data-mining websites and the pet journal on 7.3 PTR listed a cute little female Draenei Uuna (non-combat battle pet) and The Many-Faced Devourer as source. While I was testing different pet families on One-of-Many for the Family Fighter achievement today I’ve seen the golden rare spawn star on my minimap and a russian alliance player was already fighting The Many-faced Devourer. So I joined the battle and looted the corpse, but no pet drop. Curious about the golden star appearing and disappearing on my minimap earlier I tried to find that player to ask him what happended and what he did to spawn that rare, unfortunately I could not find him. Few hours later another guy of the same russian guild also spawned this rare so I logged onto my alliance char immediately to ask him and he was not very happy to talk in english but then he was not only willing to tell me how he did it, he was kind enough to hand me coordinates of the bone locations! Later he spawned The Many-Faced Devourer multiple times. I think a lot of rare spawns bugged at that time, they dropped loot on each kill and people were grinding AP tokens, usually they drop loot once per day &  character. And then the first people had their Uuna summoned and a few kills later I got mine 😀   So it was time to find that bones to spawn that rare on my own, so here is what I did… Step 1: Get http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=152786 (unfortunateley I don’t remember how I got mine, I carried this...

Environeer Bert “Bert’s Bots” Legion Patch 7.3

On the PTR for Patch 7.3 a mini-spider-tank battle pet Dibbler was datamined as reward from a new Leprous Sack of Pet Supplies and many people were hoping for Gnomeregan to be the next pet battle dungeon. Since Blizzard changed the way we aquire pets from Deadmines pet battle challenge (currency instead of the RNG of a bag reward for the Wayling Critters challenge) and there was no new quest in the Dalaran pet shop I wanted to check the only thing that comes to my mind when thinking of leprous stuff und mechs… Gnomeregan. Wasn’t very nice to see the level 115 elite guards as a Horde player, but I managed to get to the elevator and then I found a exclamation mark on a new pet tamer called Environeer Bert. And there was the Leprous Sack of Pet Supplies as reward for completing Bert’s Bots. I started the fight to see the stats and abilities of Bert’s epic bots (of course all mechanical pets) and was surprised that two of them only had 2 abilities and none of them a boss or elite passive. Checking my quest log said it’s daily & account-wide so this looks like another Crysa-style pet battle. So here are Bert’s bots: 1. Corporal Hammer (HP:1920 P:346 S:241) Explode, Hammer 2. M-37 (HP:1500 P:332 S:350) Firebomb, Explode 3. Clamp (HP:1789 P:297 S:311) Storm Coil, Drill Charge, Clamp So Corporal Hammer will force-swap your pets with his Hammer. Maybe you’ve seen a similar effect when fighting the Ominitron Defense System in Stormheim (this time no hit no swap on your side as long as...

Fight Night: Sir Galveston (tdBPS)

Here are two scripts for a XuFu team for Sir Galveston and another maybe better mentioned in the comments so find a written strategy there. First one uses Energyzed Manafiend & Frostwolf Pup, for the second the Frostwolf is replaced by e Fel Pup.   Rematch-Import: Fight Night: Sir Galveston:99182:1764:421:593:440:0:0:0:0:1660:499:165:362: tdBattlePetScript Copy&Paste Skript: if [ self(#1).active ]     ability(440) [ self.round = 3 ]     if [ enemy(#3).active ]         ability(440) [ enemy.round = 1 ]         ability(593) [ enemy.hp < 659 & enemy.round = 3 ]         ability(593) [ enemy.round = 4 ]         ability(421)     endif     ability(421) endif change(#2) [ !self(#2).played ] change(#3) [ self(#2).played ] ability(165) [ enemy(#1).active ] ability(110)   Rematch-Import: Fight Night: Sir Galveston:99182:1764:421:593:440:0:0:0:0:1660:499:165:362: tdBattlePetScript Copy&Paste Skript: if [ self(#1).active ]     ability(440) [ self.round = 3 ]     if [ enemy(#3).active ]         ability(440) [ enemy.round = 1 ]         ability(593) [ enemy.hp < 659 & enemy.round = 3 ]         ability(593) [ enemy.round = 4 ]         ability(421)     endif     ability(421) endif change(#2) [ !self(#2).played ] change(#3) [ self(#2).played ] if [ enemy(#1).active ]     ability(362)     ability(165) endif...

Fight Night: Amalia (tdBPS)

This fight has a lot of RNG elements with enemys dodging, Dreadful Breath AoE and forced pet swaps. So it’s not that easy to find something to counter all these things or at least protect your level pet from taking damage so it can be low level. I was not quite happy with my own team and what I’ve seen on XuFu, so for now here is my favourite team/strategy for the moment using a Darkmoon Zeppelin and Slithershock Elver (S/S breed). Level pet usually takes one Dreadful Breath (165 if critical) so 166 Hitpoints for non-Dragonkin pets are recommended (in the team preferences).   Strategy: Start with one Rocket and check Foofs’ Hitpoints now. If he’s already lower than 75% (~1290 Hipoints) use a second Rocket, in this case he will heal with Buried Treasure before he starts Dreadful Breath. Apply Decoy next and kill the first enemy pet with Rockets. For Stumpers use Decoy if it’s ready again, all other rounds use Rocket. If the Zeppelin doesn’t kill Stumpers, bring your Slithershock Elver and spam Deep Bite. If Lil’Sizzle enters the battle you usally have two options: Zeppelin is still active, use Explode, bring Slithershock Elver and Dodge. Slithershock Elver is already active, use one Deep Bite then Dodge. Pass turns as long the enemy is unattackable (Puppies of the Flame), then use Deep Bite until Lil’Sizzle forces your pets to switch positions. Bring back you Slithershock Elver and then follow these priority list: Dive if Inferno Herding is ready and Puppies of the Flame not active (we avoid more pet swaps this way) Dodge if Puppies...
